HOW DO I GET IN?

  • Recognised Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Engineering Technology or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5. 
  • Degree holders of Bachelor of Science or Technology (non-engineering or engineering technology) with CGPA above 2.0 but less than 2.5 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process. 
  • Any equivalent degree - subject to University’s Senate approval

English Language Requirements

  • Pass in English at SPM level
  • MUET: Minimum band 3.5; or 
  • GCSE: Minimum Pass; or
  • IELTS: Minimum Band 5.0; or 
  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum Score 40; or 
  • PTE: 47; or
  • LINGUASKILL: 154; or
  • Any equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government (equivalent to CEFR High B1) 
  • ** Validity of test results: 
  • MUET: 5 years 
  • IELTS, TOEFL, PTE & LINGUASKILL: 2 years
